A few years ago we recommended antivirus solutions but did not implement them as standard packages. Now we insist that any system we maintain and any network we service is protected by some form of anti-virus package.

 

Until recently viruses were sent and spread via internet mail but in 2004 we saw the first internet born virus and this means your PC can become infected simply by surfing the net.

 

This situation is not going to get any better so the more we a users can do to contain the situation the better it for everyone else.
